Is there a minimum engagement required to hire a Consultant?
There is no minimum. Nevertheless, we prioritize building long-term relationships with our partners and look to enroll our consultants in ongoing and challenging projects.
Can I vet a consultant on my own?
Yes, you can interview our consultants and even administer technical evaluations before giving the green light.
Do you charge for vacation time?
Tero manages all employee leaves. We do not charge clients for time off of any kind.
Do you charge for overtime hours?
If time-off can not be given in compensation for the equivalent number of hours as those that have exceeded 8 hours per day, overtime hours will be charged an additional % over the hourly rates.
What happens if I'm not happy with the services?
If the consultant does not meet your expectations, a substitution can be triggered. To do this, the client must give 30 days' notice, and Tero will assume the onboarding cost of up to 20 hours for the new consultant.
How is Staff Augmentation billed?
Staff Augmentation services are billed as Time & Material engagements. FTE’s are considered as 40hr/week allocations. If dedication is expected to exceed 10% higher than regular working hours for a given month, prior written approval must be requested.
In what time-zone do you work?
Our delivery team is distributed across LATAM. Our consultants’ by default work regular office hours in their local time zones which range from UTC-3 to UTC-5.
